PDF page cropper trims the visible area of every page by setting left, right, top and bottom margins in points, 20 points each by default. It changes the page crop box, so viewers and printers show less of each page. Content outside the new bounds is hidden but stays in the file, and the result downloads as result.pdf.
- Choose a source file. If the tool accepts multiple files, arrange them in the order you want.
- Set left margin (points), right margin (points), top margin (points), bottom margin (points).
- Run pdf page cropper, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

Does cropping a PDF remove the hidden content?
No. Cropping only changes the visible page bounds, so text and images outside the crop area remain in the file and can be recovered. Use a permanent redaction tool when content must actually be removed.
How many points do I enter to crop half an inch?
PDF measurements use 72 points per inch, so half an inch is 36 points. Enter that value in the margin you want to trim; each side is set separately.
Why does the cropper say margins must leave a positive area?
The left and right margins together, or the top and bottom margins together, are as large as the page itself. Reduce them so some of every page remains visible.
