PDF bookmark editor inspects, replaces or clears the outline entries that appear in a PDF's bookmarks panel. Inspect lists each bookmark's depth, title and target page. Replace builds a new tree from JSON entries with a title, a 1-based page number and optional children, supporting up to 1,000 bookmarks and 20 nesting levels. Clear removes the outline.
- Choose a source file. If the tool accepts multiple files, arrange them in the order you want.

How do I add bookmarks to a PDF?
Choose replace and enter a JSON array such as [{"title": "Intro", "page": 1, "children": []}]. Each entry needs a title and a page number that exists in the document, and nested entries go in children.
Why do some bookmarks show as unresolved when inspected?
Bookmarks that use named destinations or action-based links do not point straight to a page object, so the inspector cannot match them to a page number and marks them unresolved.
How do I remove all bookmarks from a PDF?
Choose the clear action and run the tool. The document outline is deleted, and the page content is not changed. Replacing with an empty JSON array has the same effect.
