Image to text OCR recognizes text in screenshots and photos and returns it as editable plain text. You can add several images in one run, and their text is joined with blank lines between images and saved as recognized-text.txt. Choose from 11 OCR languages; the language data downloads while the image itself is processed in your browser.
- Choose a source file. If the tool accepts multiple files, arrange them in the order you want.
- Adjust the basic settings, then open Advanced mode for export and fine-tuning options. Custom settings stay active when the panel is closed.
- Run image to text ocr, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

How do I copy text from a screenshot?
Add the screenshot, choose the language of the text, and run the tool. The recognized text appears for copying and is also available as recognized-text.txt. Check names and numbers against the original, since OCR is an estimate.
Can I extract text from several photos at once?
Yes. Select multiple images in one run. Each is recognized in turn, and the results are combined in the order of your files, separated by blank lines.
Does image OCR support languages other than English?
Yes. The language menu offers eng, spa, fra, deu, por, ita, jpn, kor, chi_sim, ara and hin. Tesseract loads the recognition data for the language you pick, so choose the one that matches the text.
Where is my input processed?
This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.
