Scan to PDF combines photos or scans of paper pages into one PDF, with a grayscale option that slightly raises contrast and is on by default. Choose a page size that matches each image or A4 or US Letter, the orientation, a margin up to 144 points and the embedded JPEG quality. Images are centered and scaled to fit.
- Choose a source file. If the tool accepts multiple files, arrange them in the order you want.
- Adjust the basic settings, then open Advanced mode for export and fine-tuning options. Custom settings stay active when the panel is closed.
- Run scan to pdf, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

How do I turn phone photos of documents into one PDF?
Select all the photos, arrange them in page order and run the tool. Each photo becomes a page in images.pdf. Keep Grayscale scan on for text documents, or turn it off to preserve color.
Why are my scanned pages black and white in the PDF?
The Grayscale scan option is enabled by default and converts each image to grayscale with a small contrast increase. Uncheck it before running to keep the original colors.
Can I search the text in the PDF I made from scans?
Not directly. The pages are images, so text is not searchable until you apply OCR. Run the finished PDF through an OCR tool to add a text layer.
Where is my input processed?
This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.
