Inventory reorder point calculator
Estimate reorder thresholds from demand, lead time and safety stock.
روش استفاده Inventory reorder point calculator
The inventory reorder point calculator estimates the stock level at which to place a new order. It multiplies average daily demand by lead time in days, adds safety stock, and rounds up to a whole unit. With the defaults of 20 units per day, a 7-day lead time and 50 safety units, the reorder point is 190 units.
- Enter the requested values in the settings panel.
- Adjust the basic settings, then open Advanced mode for export and fine-tuning options. Custom settings stay active when the panel is closed.
- Run inventory reorder point calculator, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

پرسشهای متداول
What is the reorder point formula?
Reorder point equals average daily demand times lead time in days, plus safety stock. The calculator rounds the result up to the next whole unit so you do not reorder slightly too late.
Does the reorder point calculator work out safety stock?
No. Safety stock is an input you supply in units. The calculator adds it to expected demand during the lead time but does not estimate it from demand variability or service level.
What units should I use for lead time?
Lead time is entered in days and demand in average units per day, so both use the same time base. If your supplier quotes weeks, multiply by 7 before entering it.
Where is my input processed?
This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.
What are the input limits?
