Bí a ṣe ń lò ó Image to ASCII art
Image to ASCII art converts a picture into text characters based on brightness. You set the output width from 10 to 250 characters, and the number of rows is calculated automatically to account for tall character cells. Dark areas use dense characters like @ and %, and Invert brightness reverses the mapping for light text on dark backgrounds.
- Choose a source file. If the tool accepts multiple files, arrange them in the order you want.
- Adjust the basic settings, then open Advanced mode for export and fine-tuning options. Custom settings stay active when the panel is closed.
- Run image to ascii art, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

How do I make ASCII art from a photo?
Upload the photo, choose how many columns wide the text should be, and run the tool. The result is plain text you can copy or download as image-ascii.txt; view it in a monospaced font so the shapes line up.
What characters does the ASCII art converter use?
It uses a 10-step ramp from dark to light: @ % # * + = - : . and a space. Each character stands for a band of brightness calculated from the red, green and blue values of the resized image.
Why does my ASCII art look squashed or stretched?
The row count is halved because text characters are roughly twice as tall as they are wide. If your font has different proportions, the art can look slightly off, so try another monospaced font or adjust the column count.
Where is my input processed?
This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.
What are the input limits?
Images are limited to 32 megapixels and 16,000 pixels per side. Most operations accept one source; supported batch operations produce a ZIP archive.
