Number base converter استعمال کرنے کا طریقہ

The Number base converter takes a whole number written in one base and rewrites it in another base from 2 to 36, such as binary, octal, decimal or hexadecimal. It accepts up to 10,000 digits and a leading minus sign, uses exact big-integer arithmetic so long values do not lose precision, and reports any digit that is invalid for the source base.

  1. Type or paste your source, or load an example.
  2. Change the basic settings or open Advanced mode to fine-tune the result.
  3. Review and copy or download your result. Pause Live results to run manually. Sources or individual settings above 20,000 characters require an explicit run.

اکثر پوچھے جانے والے سوالات

How do I convert decimal to hexadecimal?

Enter the decimal number, set Source base to 10 and Destination base to 16. For example, 255 becomes ff. Letters in the output are lowercase, and digits above 9 use a to z for bases up to 36.

Can I convert very large binary numbers?

Yes. The converter uses big-integer arithmetic instead of floating-point numbers, so it can convert whole numbers of up to 10,000 digits without rounding. It does not accept fractions or decimal points.

Why does it say a digit is not valid in my base?

Each base only allows digits lower than the base. Binary allows 0 and 1, octal allows 0 to 7, and hexadecimal allows 0 to 9 and a to f. The error names the first digit that does not fit the source base.

Where is my input processed?

This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.

What are the input limits?

Text operations generally accept up to 2,000,000 characters. Individual parsers, generators and formulas apply additional limits shown by their controls.
