Fraction calculator nasıl kullanılır
The Fraction calculator adds, subtracts, multiplies or divides two fractions such as -3/4 and 2/3 and returns the result reduced to lowest terms, plus its decimal value. Arithmetic is exact, using whole-number numerators and denominators of up to 15 digits, and the result shows the full equation that was solved.
- Adjust the values; an initial result is calculated from the defaults.
- Change the basic settings or open Advanced mode to fine-tune the result.
- Review and copy or download your result. Pause Live results to run manually. Sources or individual settings above 20,000 characters require an explicit run.

Sık sorulan sorular
How do I enter a fraction or a whole number?
Type a whole number such as 5 or a fraction such as -3/4, with an optional sign in front. Each numerator and denominator can have up to 15 digits. Mixed numbers like 1 1/2 and decimals are not accepted, so write 1 1/2 as 3/2.
Does the calculator simplify the answer?
Yes. After the operation, the numerator and denominator are divided by their greatest common divisor, and any negative sign is moved to the numerator. For example, 1/2 + 2/3 returns 7/6 together with its decimal value.
What happens if I divide by a zero fraction?
Dividing by a fraction whose numerator is zero returns the error Cannot divide by zero. A denominator of zero in either input is also rejected before any calculation runs.
Where is my input processed?
This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.
What are the input limits?
Use finite numbers, valid dates and the ranges shown by each control. Invalid values produce an error without a downloadable result.
