Favicon generator turns one image into a ZIP of website icons. ### Do I need to edit the site.webmanifest file?

Yes. It uses the placeholder name Your app and the short name App with standalone display. Update the names and the icon paths so they match where you upload the files on your site.

### Does the favicon generator crop my logo?

No. Each icon scales the whole image to fit inside a square, so a wide or tall logo keeps its proportions and the unused area stays transparent. A square source avoids empty margins at small sizes.
