Tool ID: unicode-inspector. Requested language: tw. Description language: en. Complete guide translation: no; untranslated sections use English.

## Overview (en)

Unicode inspector breaks text into individual code points and shows each character, its U+ code point in hexadecimal and how many UTF-8 bytes it uses. Joined emoji are split into their components, so zero-width joiners and variation selectors become visible. The table covers the first 5,000 code points.

## Supported tasks (en)

Inspect individual Unicode code points and bytes.

## Steps (en)

1. Type or paste your source, or load an example.
2. Results update automatically as you edit.
3. Review and copy or download your result. Pause Live results to run manually. Sources or individual settings above 20,000 characters require an explicit run.

## Settings

No additional settings.

## Limitations (en)

Text operations generally accept up to 2,000,000 characters. Individual parsers, generators and formulas apply additional limits shown by their controls.

## Example input

```text
Hello ToolCabana
```

## Privacy and connections (en)

This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.

## Questions (en)

### How do I find the Unicode code point of a character?

Paste the character or text and run the inspector. Each code point appears in its own row in the U+XXXX format, alongside the character and its UTF-8 byte count.

### Why does one emoji show several rows?

Many emoji are sequences of several code points, such as a base emoji, a zero-width joiner and a variation selector. The inspector lists each component separately.

### Can the Unicode inspector reveal hidden characters?

Yes. Invisible characters such as zero-width spaces or non-breaking spaces get their own row and code point, which makes them easier to spot.

### Where is my input processed?

This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.

### What are the input limits?

Text operations generally accept up to 2,000,000 characters. Individual parsers, generators and formulas apply additional limits shown by their controls.
