Tool ID: json-diff. Requested language: si. Description language: en. Complete guide translation: no; untranslated sections use English.

## Overview (en)

JSON diff compares two JSON values and shows the lines that were added, removed or left unchanged. Paste the original into the main box and the second version into the Compare with JSON field. Both are parsed first, and object keys are put in sorted order, so a different key order alone does not count as a change.

## Supported tasks (en)

Compare two JSON values and see their differences.

## Steps (en)

1. Paste the source into the input editor, or load the built-in example.
2. Set compare with json.
3. Run json diff, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

## Settings

## Limitations (en)

Text operations generally accept up to 2,000,000 characters. Individual parsers, generators and formulas apply additional limits shown by their controls.

```
## Privacy and connections (en)
This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.
## Questions (en)
### How do I compare two JSON files?
Paste the first JSON document into the input and the second into the Compare with JSON setting, then run the tool. Lines that exist only in the second version start with a plus sign and removed lines with a minus sign.
### Does JSON diff ignore key order?
Yes. Both values are serialized with their object keys sorted before comparison, so two objects with the same keys and values in a different order produce no differences.
### What if one of the JSON inputs is invalid?
Both sides must be strict JSON. If either one fails to parse, the tool shows the parsing error with a line and column instead of a partial comparison.
### Where is my input processed?
This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.
### What are the input limits?
Text operations generally accept up to 2,000,000 characters. Individual parsers, generators and formulas apply additional limits shown by their controls.
