Tool ID: svg-to-png. Requested language: hz. Description language: en. Complete guide translation: no; untranslated sections use English.

## Overview (en)

SVG to PNG renders SVG markup you paste into a PNG image. The SVG is sanitized first, removing scripts, style elements and attributes, embedded images, links and animations. If the root svg element has no width or height, the tool uses 1200 by 800 pixels. Markup with a DTD, entities or more than 5,000 elements is rejected.

## Supported tasks (en)

Render safe SVG markup as a PNG image.

## Steps (en)

1. Paste the source into the input editor, or load the built-in example.
2. Check the source format before running the operation.
3. Run svg to png, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

## Settings

No additional settings.

## Limitations (en)

Images are limited to 32 megapixels and 16,000 pixels per side. Most operations accept one source; supported batch operations produce a ZIP archive.

## Example input

```text
<svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" width="400" height="300" viewBox="0 0 400 300"><rect width="400" height="300" fill="#f5ede6"/><circle cx="200" cy="150" r="80" fill="#ed854b"/></svg>
```

## Privacy and connections (en)

This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.

## Questions (en)

### How do I set the size of the PNG when converting SVG?

Add width and height attributes to the root svg element, and the PNG is rendered at those pixel dimensions. When an attribute is missing, the tool fills in 1200 for the width or 800 for the height before rendering.

### Why does my SVG look different after converting to PNG?

The markup is sanitized before rendering. Style elements and style attributes, image and use references, foreignObject and animations are stripped, so artwork that depends on them renders without those parts. Presentation attributes such as fill and stroke are kept.

### Why does SVG to PNG time out or fail?

Rendering stops after 8 seconds, and SVGs larger than 16,000 pixels per side or 32 megapixels are refused. Markup that is not valid SVG, or that contains a DOCTYPE or entities, also returns an error instead of an image.

### Where is my input processed?

This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.

### What are the input limits?

Images are limited to 32 megapixels and 16,000 pixels per side. Most operations accept one source; supported batch operations produce a ZIP archive.
