### How do I convert a comma CSV to a semicolon CSV?

Leave Source delimiter on auto or choose a comma, set Output delimiter to a semicolon and run the tool. Quoted fields are re-quoted as needed for the new separator.

### Can I convert CSV to tab-separated values?

Yes. Choose the tab character as the Output delimiter. Pipe, comma and semicolon are also available, and you can set CRLF or LF line endings.

### Why does Excel show odd characters in my converted CSV?

Turn on Add UTF-8 BOM in Advanced mode. The byte order mark helps spreadsheet apps detect UTF-8 so accented letters display correctly.
