## Overview (en)

The Business days calculator counts working days between a start date and an end date, skipping the weekend days and holiday dates you supply. Weekends default to Saturday and Sunday (ISO days 6 and 7) but can be any set of weekdays. The start date is always included, the end date is optional, and ranges can span up to 100 years.

## Steps (en)

1. Enter the requested values in the settings panel.
2. Adjust the basic settings, then open Advanced mode for export and fine-tuning options. Custom settings stay active when the panel is closed.

### Does the business days calculator include public holidays?

Not automatically. No country holiday calendar is built in. Paste your holiday dates into the holiday box, one YYYY-MM-DD date per line, and each one that falls on a working day is removed from the count.

### How do I set a Friday and Saturday weekend?

Enter 5,6 in the weekend days field. Days use ISO numbering, where Monday is 1 and Sunday is 7. The default of 6,7 means Saturday and Sunday. Any comma-separated list of 1 to 7 is accepted.

### Is the end date counted as a business day?

Only if you turn on Include end date. The start date is always counted. The result also lists the calendar days in the interval so you can compare. The end date must not be earlier than the start date.
