## Overview (en)

Campaign ROI Scenario Planner estimates revenue, contribution and return on investment for a paid campaign from spend, paid visits, conversion rate, average order revenue and contribution margin. It builds three scenarios side by side: Lower at half your conversion rate, Base at the rate you enter, and Higher at 1.5 times it, capped at 100 percent.

## Questions (en)

### How is campaign ROI calculated in this planner?

Revenue is visits times conversion rate times average order revenue. Contribution is revenue times your margin percentage, and ROI is contribution minus spend, divided by spend, shown as a percentage. A negative ROI means contribution does not cover the spend.

### Why does the planner use contribution margin instead of revenue for ROI?

Contribution keeps only the share of revenue set by your margin percentage, so ROI is measured against what remains rather than gross sales. Set the margin to 100 to calculate ROI on revenue alone. Check all estimates against your own data.

### What do the Lower and Higher scenarios change?

Only the conversion rate. Lower uses half your entered rate and Higher uses 1.5 times it, never above 100 percent, while spend, visits, order revenue and margin stay the same. This shows how sensitive ROI is to conversion.
