LLM cost calculator estimates API spend from token counts and per-million-token prices you enter. Set input and output tokens per request, input and output prices, the number of requests and a currency label, and get the cost per request, the total, and the separate input and output shares. Cached tokens, batch discounts, reasoning tokens and other fees are not modeled.

## Steps (en)

1. Enter the requested values in the settings panel.
2. Adjust the basic settings, then open Advanced mode for export and fine-tuning options. Custom settings stay active when the panel is closed.
3. Run llm cost calculator, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

### How do I calculate the cost of an LLM API call?

Cost per request is input tokens times the input price plus output tokens times the output price, divided by 1,000,000. The calculator does this, shows the per-request figure to six decimals, and multiplies by the number of requests for the total.

### Does the LLM cost calculator include current model prices?

No. It uses only the prices you type, with placeholder defaults of 1 per million input tokens and 4 per million output tokens. Copy current rates from your provider's pricing page, since prices change and differ by model.

### Can I show the LLM cost in euros or another currency?

Yes. The Currency label field, USD by default, is appended to the per-request and total figures. It is only a label and no exchange-rate conversion happens, so enter prices already expressed in that currency.
