JSON validator checks whether your text is valid JSON and reports the line and column of the first syntax error. Valid input returns the root type and its size in UTF-8 bytes. When the only problem is trailing commas, it offers a repaired candidate you can download as repaired.json while leaving your original text unchanged.

### How do I find where my JSON is broken?

Paste the JSON and run the validator. If parsing fails, the error message starts with the line and column where the problem was detected, followed by the parser message describing what was unexpected.

### Can the JSON validator fix trailing commas?

Yes, but only that case. If removing commas that sit outside strings makes the JSON valid, it shows the repaired candidate and a download. Any other error is reported without a repair.

### Why is my JSON with a very large number rejected?

Integers outside the exact range of -9,007,199,254,740,991 to 9,007,199,254,740,991 are rejected because they would be rounded. Store large IDs or amounts as quoted strings to keep every digit.
