List shows the names in the document's EmbeddedFiles tree, extract downloads each attachment as a file without opening or running it, and add attaches files you choose after the PDF. Extraction supports up to 100 embedded files, 20 MB per attachment and 50 MB in total.

### Is it safe to extract attachments from a PDF?

### Why doesn't the tool list an attachment I can see in my PDF viewer?

The tool reads the document's EmbeddedFiles name tree. Attachments stored in other ways, such as file annotations on a page, may not appear in the list or be extracted.
