## Overview (en)

The Open Graph preview shows an approximate social share card built from the page title, description, canonical URL and image URL you enter, and outputs the matching meta tags. Choose website or article as the og:type. The card shows the URL's hostname, title and description; the image URL goes into the tags but is not fetched or displayed.

## Steps (en)

1. Enter the requested values in the settings panel.
2. Adjust the basic settings, then open Advanced mode for export and fine-tuning options. Custom settings stay active when the panel is closed.

### Why doesn't my Open Graph image show in the preview?

The tool does not download remote images. It notes that an image URL is set and adds og:image with a summary_large_image Twitter card, but the card itself shows text only. Open the image URL directly to confirm it loads.

### Will Facebook or LinkedIn show my link exactly like this preview?

Not necessarily. The preview is approximate, and social networks cache cards and may crop or render them differently. Use it to check your wording and tag values before publishing the page.

### Which Open Graph tags does the preview generate?

It produces og:type, og:title, og:description, og:url and, when an image URL is given, og:image, along with the title element, meta description, canonical link and a twitter:card tag. Title and description text is HTML-escaped.
