Round robin scheduler
Generate pairings with configurable venues and rounds.
How to use Round robin scheduler
The Round robin scheduler takes 2 to 50 participant names and generates a schedule in which everyone meets everyone else once, with round, time slot, venue, home and away columns. You set how many venues run at the same time, and a home and away option adds a second cycle with sides swapped. The schedule is printable HTML.

Frequently asked questions
How many rounds does a round robin schedule have?
With an even number of participants, there are n − 1 rounds, and with an odd number there are n rounds, because a bye is added and one participant sits out each round. Turning on home and away rounds doubles the count.
How are venues and time slots assigned?
Games within each round are numbered in order and split across the venues per time slot. With 2 venues, the first two games are in slot 1 at venues 1 and 2, the next two in slot 2, and so on. Venues can be set from 1 to 50.
What algorithm does the round robin scheduler use?
It uses the circle method. The first participant stays fixed while the others rotate one position each round, and players are paired from opposite ends of the list. This guarantees every pair meets exactly once per cycle.
