How do I find the field names in my PDF form?
Load the PDF and run the tool with the input left empty. It returns a JSON list of every field name with its type, which you can copy into an object such as {"name": "Alex Example", "subscribe": true}.
Why does my PDF form show an unsupported field type error?
The tool fills text fields, checkboxes, dropdowns and option lists. Any other field type, such as a radio group, stops the run with an unsupported field type message naming that field, so remove it from your JSON.
How do I tick a checkbox when filling a PDF form?
Give the checkbox field the value true to check it or false to uncheck it. Other values, including the text yes, are rejected with an error saying checkbox values must be true or false.
Where is my input processed?
This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.
