How to use PDF to PNG

PDF to PNG renders selected PDF pages as lossless PNG images and packages them in one ZIP download. Choose all pages or a list such as 2,5-7, and set the rendering resolution between 72 and 300 DPI. The first exported page is previewed with its pixel size, and files are named page-1.png, page-2.png and so on.

  1. Choose a source file. If the tool accepts multiple files, arrange them in the order you want.
  2. Set pages (blank = all; e.g. 1,3-5), resolution (dpi).
  3. Run pdf to png, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

Frequently asked questions

Should I convert my PDF to PNG or JPG?

PNG is lossless, so text edges, line art and diagrams stay crisp, but files are usually larger. JPG suits photo-heavy pages where a smaller file matters more. Both converters use the same page selection and DPI settings.

How many PDF pages can I export as PNG at once?

You can render up to 200 selected pages per run, and the source PDF can have at most 500 pages. For longer documents, convert in batches by entering ranges such as 1-200 and then 201-400.

Why are my PNG pages blurry when I zoom in?

The image detail depends on the resolution setting, which defaults to 144 DPI. Raise it toward the 300 DPI maximum for sharper images, keeping in mind that file sizes grow with resolution.

Where is my input processed?

This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.

What are the input limits?

PDF input is bounded to 20 MB per file. Page rendering is capped at 200 selected pages; page-edit output is bounded to 500 pages.
