How to use Password generator
The password generator creates up to 100 random passwords at once, each 4 to 256 characters long, using the browser's cryptographic random number source. Toggle uppercase, lowercase, digits and symbols, and exclude look-alike characters such as 0, O, 1, I and l. Every selected group appears at least once, and an entropy estimate in bits is shown.
- Enter the requested values in the settings panel.
- Adjust the basic settings, then open Advanced mode for export and fine-tuning options. Custom settings stay active when the panel is closed.
- Run password generator, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.
What this tool supports
Each selected character group appears at least once. One character is drawn from each group, the rest come from the combined alphabet, and the characters are shuffled. No generated password is saved.

Limits and processing
Use finite numbers, valid dates and the ranges shown by each control. Invalid values produce an error without a downloadable result.

Frequently asked questions
How many bits of entropy does my generated password have?
The tool reports alphabet entropy as the length multiplied by log2 of the combined alphabet size. Because each selected group must appear at least once, the real set of possible passwords is slightly smaller than that figure suggests.
Which characters are excluded as ambiguous?
With Exclude ambiguous characters turned on, which is the default, the digits 0 and 1 and the letters O, I and l are removed from every group. This helps when a password has to be read aloud or typed from paper.
Which symbols does the password generator use?
The symbol group contains 23 characters: ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ = + [ ] { } ; : , . and ?. Turn Symbols off if a site rejects special characters, and passwords will use only the other selected groups.
Where is my input processed?
This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.
What are the input limits?
Use finite numbers, valid dates and the ranges shown by each control. Invalid values produce an error without a downloadable result.
