How to use Passport photo cropper
Passport photo cropper center-crops a photo to print dimensions you enter in millimeters, 10 to 100 for width and height, at a print resolution between 72 and 600 DPI. The defaults are 35 by 45 mm at 300 DPI. It does not check face position, background or any official photo requirements.
- Choose a source file. If the tool accepts multiple files, arrange them in the order you want.
- Adjust the basic settings, then open Advanced mode for export and fine-tuning options. Custom settings stay active when the panel is closed.
- Run passport photo cropper, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

Frequently asked questions
How many pixels is a 35 x 45 mm photo at 300 DPI?
About 413 by 531 pixels. The tool divides each millimeter size by 25.4 to get inches, multiplies by the DPI, and rounds to whole pixels for the output canvas.
Does the passport photo cropper make my photo compliant?
No. It only center-crops and scales the image to the chosen size. Face position, head size, background color and other rules from the issuing authority are not checked, so compare the result with the official requirements.
How do I control which part of the photo is kept?
The crop is always centered. Crop or reposition the original first so your face sits in the middle with the framing you need, then run the cropper to get the exact print dimensions.
