Cum folosești Remove image background

Remove image background separates the main subject of a photo from its background and returns a PNG with a transparent background. It uses the BEN2 segmentation model, about 219 MB, which downloads on first use and then runs in a browser worker. Hair, transparent objects and low-contrast edges may need manual correction afterward.

  1. Choose a source file. If the tool accepts multiple files, arrange them in the order you want.
  2. Check the source format before running the operation.
  3. Run remove image background, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

Funcțiile instrumentului

BEN2 segmentation runs in this browser after a model download. Hair, transparent objects and low-contrast edges may need manual correction. The image stays on your device.

Limite și procesare

Images are limited to 32 megapixels and 16,000 pixels per side. Most operations accept one source; supported batch operations produce a ZIP archive.

Întrebări frecvente

Why is the first background removal so slow?

The first run downloads the BEN2 model, about 219 MB, before any processing starts. The model may stay in the browser cache afterward, so later runs on the same device can skip most of that download.

What format is the image without background saved in?

The cutout is saved as a PNG, which keeps the transparent area around the subject. You can place it on a new background in another editor or keep the transparency as it is.

Can I remove the background from several photos at once?

This tool processes one image per run. For up to 10 images in one pass, the batch background removal tool returns all transparent cutouts together in a ZIP archive.

Where is my input processed?

Source files and text stay in this browser. The first run downloads public models from Hugging Face and local runtime assets from the site. Models may remain in the browser cache. No source upload to Vercel, Supabase or a conversion service is required.
