Prompt privacy checker scrubs a prompt before you paste it into an AI service, replacing email addresses, common phone formats, checksum-valid card numbers and IPv4 addresses with type labels such as [EMAIL] or [IP]. Add client names, project code names or other phrases to redact as [CUSTOM]. A table shows where each redaction starts and ends.
- Paste the source into the input editor, or load the built-in example.
- Set additional names / phrases to redact (one per line).
- Run prompt privacy checker, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

Întrebări frecvente
How do I remove personal data from a prompt before sending it to an AI chatbot?
Paste the prompt, add any names or internal terms to the additional phrases field, and run the check. Copy the redacted version, which keeps your wording but swaps detected items for labels like [EMAIL], and review it for anything the patterns missed.
Will the AI still understand my prompt after redaction?
Each detected item is replaced by a type label rather than deleted, so sentence structure stays intact. All custom phrases become the same [CUSTOM] label, though, so if the model needs to tell people apart, rename them yourself first, for example Client A and Client B.
Does the prompt privacy checker detect API keys or passwords?
No. Built-in patterns cover only email addresses, supported phone formats, card numbers that pass the Luhn check and IPv4 addresses. You can list a specific secret as a custom phrase, but it is safer to delete keys and passwords from the prompt entirely.
Where is my input processed?
Processes source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source is not saved to account history.
