Sensitive data masking tool replaces email addresses, phone-like digit sequences and card-like numbers in pasted text with a replacement string, [REDACTED] by default. Each of the three pattern types can be switched on or off, and the masked text downloads as masked.txt. Detection is pattern-based, not exhaustive, and may also mask unrelated numbers, so review the output.

CSV/XLSX inputs are capped at 10 MB each, 200 columns and 20,000 rows; joined output is capped at 20,000 rows. JSONPath script/filter evaluation is disabled. Other operations apply their visible controls and text limits.

Perguntas frequentes
Can I change the [REDACTED] placeholder?
Yes. Type any text in the Replacement field, such as XXX or [hidden], and every masked item uses it. The same replacement is applied to emails, phone numbers and card numbers alike, so the output does not show which type was removed.
Why were order numbers masked by the masking tool?
The card rule masks any run of 13 to 19 digits, optionally separated by spaces or hyphens, without checksum validation, and the phone rule matches many grouped digit sequences. Turn off a category in settings if it catches numbers you need to keep.
Can I mask only email addresses and keep phone numbers?
Yes. Uncheck Mask phone-like digit sequences and Mask card-like digit sequences, leaving Mask email addresses on. Email addresses are matched case-insensitively in the common name@domain form with a top-level domain of at least two letters.

This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.
