Slik bruker du JSON to XML

JSON to XML converts a JSON value into an XML document with a UTF-8 declaration and a root element you name, with root as the default. Object keys become element names, array entries become item elements, null values become empty elements, and text is escaped. Keys must be valid simple XML names, and nesting is limited to 100 levels.

  1. Paste the source into the input editor, or load the built-in example.
  2. Set root element.
  3. Run json to xml, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

Vanlige spørsmål

How are JSON arrays converted to XML?

Each array is wrapped in an element named after its key, and every entry inside becomes an item element. For example, "items":[1,2] becomes an items element containing two item elements with the values 1 and 2.

Why does JSON to XML say my keys are invalid?

XML element names must start with a letter or underscore and may contain only letters, digits, underscores, periods and hyphens. JSON keys with spaces, symbols or a leading digit trigger this error, so rename them first.

Can I change the root element name in the XML?

Yes. Enter a name in the Root element setting; the default is root. The name must follow the same rules as other element names, starting with a letter or underscore.

Where is my input processed?

This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.

What are the input limits?

Media input is bounded to 50 MB per file and 100 MB combined. WebAssembly conversions have a 180-second limit and may require substantial browser memory.
