Kaip naudoti Temperature converter

The Temperature converter takes a single reading in Celsius, Fahrenheit or Kelvin and returns the same reading in another of those scales, together with the formula it applied. It converts through Kelvin internally, rejects any value below absolute zero, and lets you choose 1 to 15 significant digits and grouped, plain or scientific display.

  1. Adjust the values; an initial result is calculated from the defaults.
  2. Change the basic settings or open Advanced mode to fine-tune the result.
  3. Review and copy or download your result. Pause Live results to run manually. Sources or individual settings above 20,000 characters require an explicit run.

What is the formula to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit?

Multiply the Celsius reading by 9/5 and add 32, so 20 °C becomes 68 °F. For the reverse, subtract 32 from the Fahrenheit reading and multiply by 5/9. The converter shows the formula it used next to every result.

Can I convert a temperature difference instead of a reading?

Not directly. The tool converts readings, which include the 32-degree offset between scales. For a change in temperature, a change of 1 °C equals a change of 1.8 °F or 1 K, so multiply a Celsius difference by 1.8 yourself.

Why does the converter reject negative Kelvin values?

Kelvin starts at absolute zero, so anything below 0 K, -273.15 °C or -459.67 °F is physically impossible. The tool converts every input to Kelvin first and returns an error if the result is below zero instead of producing a meaningless number.

Where is my input processed?

This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.

What are the input limits?

Use finite numbers, valid dates and the ranges shown by each control. Invalid values produce an error without a downloadable result.
