Česta pitanja

How do I remove punctuation but keep apostrophes?

Open Advanced mode and type the characters to keep in Keep these punctuation characters, for example ' and -. Include ’ as well if your text uses curly apostrophes. Every other punctuation character is removed or replaced.

Why are symbols like $ or + not removed?

The tool targets the Unicode punctuation category. Currency signs, math symbols such as + and =, and characters like | or ~ are classified as symbols instead, so they stay in the text.

Can I replace punctuation with spaces instead of deleting it?

Yes. Enter a space in Replace punctuation with. Each punctuation character is then replaced by that text, which keeps words apart, so well-known becomes well known. Repeated spaces can be cleaned up afterward.
