Näin käytät työkalua Amortization schedule
The Amortization schedule takes a loan amount, annual interest rate, term in months and an optional extra principal payment and returns a month-by-month table of payment, principal, interest and remaining balance. It also reports total interest, total paid and the number of payoff months, so you can see how extra payments shorten the loan.
- Adjust the values; an initial result is calculated from the defaults.

- Review and copy or download your result. Pause Live results to run manually. Sources or individual settings above 20,000 characters require an explicit run.

Usein kysytyt kysymykset
How do extra payments change an amortization schedule?
The extra amount is added to every monthly payment and goes entirely to principal after that month's interest is charged. The balance falls faster, interest shrinks each month and the loan ends early. Compare Payoff months and Total interest with and without the extra amount.
How is interest calculated each month?
Each month, interest is the remaining balance × annual rate / 1200. The rest of the payment reduces principal. The last payment is capped at the remaining balance plus that month's interest, so the schedule never overpays.
Can I download the amortization table?
Yes. Besides the on-screen table, the result can be copied or downloaded as a text file in which each line holds the month, payment, principal, interest and balance separated by commas, with amounts shown to two decimals.
Where is my input processed?
This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.
What are the input limits?
Use finite numbers, valid dates and the ranges shown by each control. Invalid values produce an error without a downloadable result.
