Watermark PDF draws a text watermark across the center of every page of a PDF. The default text is DRAFT, and you can change it along with the font size from 8 to 150, the opacity from 0.05 to 1 and the angle from -180 to 180 degrees. The watermark is gray and the default tilt is -35 degrees.
- Choose a source file. If the tool accepts multiple files, arrange them in the order you want.
- Adjust the basic settings, then open Advanced mode for export and fine-tuning options. Custom settings stay active when the panel is closed.

How do I add a CONFIDENTIAL watermark to a PDF?
Replace the default DRAFT text with CONFIDENTIAL and run the tool. The text is centered on every page; adjust the font size if a longer word runs past the page edges.
How do I make a PDF watermark lighter or more visible?
Use the opacity slider, which ranges from 0.05 to 1 and starts at 0.2. Lower values make the watermark fainter so the content stays readable, and 1 makes it fully solid gray.
Can I add a horizontal watermark instead of a diagonal one?
Yes. Set the angle to 0 for horizontal text. The default -35 degrees produces a diagonal watermark, and any value from -180 to 180 degrees is accepted.
