Product shadow maker cuts out the subject of a product photo, places it on a solid background color you choose and adds a soft drop shadow beneath it. Shadow opacity is adjustable from 0 to 100 percent, default 35, with a fixed 20 pixel blur and 12 pixel downward offset. Segmentation uses the BEN2 model.

How do I add a shadow to a product photo?
Upload the photo, pick a background color and set the shadow opacity, then run the tool. The background is removed, the product is placed on the color, and a soft shadow is drawn under its outline.
Can I change the shadow direction or blur?
No. The shadow always falls 12 pixels downward with a 20 pixel blur. Only its opacity can be changed, from 0 percent for no shadow to 100 percent for a fully dark shadow.
Is the product shadow realistic like a studio photo?
It is a synthetic drop shadow that follows the cutout's outline, not a reflection or contact shadow based on the scene's lighting. Review it against the product's real lighting before using it.
Where is my input processed?
Source files and text stay in this browser. The first run downloads public models from Hugging Face and local runtime assets from the site. Models may remain in the browser cache. No source upload to Vercel, Supabase or a conversion service is required.
