روش استفاده Image DPI and print size calculator

The Image DPI and print size calculator takes an image's pixel width, pixel height and a print DPI value and returns the physical print size in inches and centimeters. It divides pixels by DPI and multiplies by 2.54 for centimeters. Changing the DPI only changes how large the pixels print; it does not add image detail.

  1. Enter the requested values in the settings panel.
  2. Set pixel width, pixel height, print dpi.
  3. Run image dpi and print size calculator, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

قابلیت‌های این ابزار

Relate pixel dimensions to physical print size; metadata alone adds no detail. Calculate print dimensions; avoid duplicating pixel resize controls.

Pixel width
Range: 1 to 100000
Pixel height
Range: 1 to 100000
Print DPI
Range: 1 to 5000

محدودیت‌ها و پردازش

Images use the existing 32-megapixel canvas bound. Up to 100 source images are allowed where supported. Pasted HTML is bounded to 200,000 characters; Mermaid diagrams to 20,000 characters and 300 lines. SVG and PNG generation require a browser.

پرسش‌های متداول

How do I calculate print size from pixels and DPI?

Divide each pixel dimension by the DPI to get inches, then multiply by 2.54 for centimeters. A 3000 × 2000 pixel image printed at 300 DPI measures 10 × 6.67 inches, or 25.4 × 16.93 cm.

Does increasing DPI improve image quality?

No. DPI only relates existing pixels to physical size. Raising it from 150 to 300 halves the print dimensions and packs the same pixels more densely; it does not create new detail or sharpen the image.

What DPI values can I enter?

DPI can be any value from 1 to 5,000, and pixel width and height can each be from 1 to 100,000. The calculator works only from the numbers you type, so no image upload is needed.

Where is my input processed?

This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.
