روش استفاده Fuel consumption converter

The Fuel consumption converter takes a fuel economy figure and returns it in another system: liters per 100 km, US miles per gallon, UK miles per gallon or kilometers per liter. It converts through L/100km using the constants 235.214583 for US mpg and 282.4809363 for UK mpg, and it rejects zero or negative values.

  1. Adjust the values; an initial result is calculated from the defaults.
  2. Change the basic settings or open Advanced mode to fine-tune the result.
  3. Review and copy or download your result. Pause Live results to run manually. Sources or individual settings above 20,000 characters require an explicit run.

پرسش‌های متداول

How do I convert mpg to L/100km?

Divide 235.214583 by the US mpg figure, or 282.4809363 by the UK mpg figure. A car rated 30 US mpg uses about 7.84 L/100km. The converter applies these constants automatically when you choose the units.

Why are US and UK mpg different?

A UK, or imperial, gallon is larger than a US gallon, so the same car shows a higher UK mpg figure. In this converter, 30 US mpg equals about 36.03 UK mpg.

How do I convert km/L to L/100km?

Divide 100 by the km/L figure. For example, 20 km/L is 5 L/100km. Because the relationship is inverse, a higher km/L or mpg means a lower L/100km value, which the converter handles for you.
