Can I convert decimals or cents to words?

No. Only whole numbers are accepted, and a value with a fractional part, such as 12.5, returns an error. Convert the whole and fractional amounts separately if you need both written out.

Why does my number with commas show an error?

Enter digits without thousands separators, such as 1500000 rather than 1,500,000. The input accepts an optional sign and plain digits; commas, spaces and currency symbols are not recognized.

What is the difference between the US and British number styles?

British English adds and between the hundreds and the rest of the number, giving one hundred and twenty-five. US English omits it: one hundred twenty-five. Both styles hyphenate compound numbers from twenty-one to ninety-nine.
