A US gallon is exactly 3.785411784 liters in this converter. A UK, or imperial, gallon is larger at 4.54609 liters, so make sure you pick the right gallon in the From and To lists before reading the result.
Is a US fluid ounce the same as a UK fluid ounce?
No. The converter uses 29.5735295625 mL for a US fluid ounce and 28.4130625 mL for a UK fluid ounce. The UK ounce is smaller, but a UK pint holds 20 of them, while a US pint holds 16.
How many milliliters are in a cubic centimeter?
