Sådan bruger du Video to GIF

Video to GIF cuts a segment from a video and turns it into a looping animated GIF. You set the start time, duration, frame rate from 1 to 30 fps and output width from 32 to 1920 pixels; height follows the original aspect ratio. Each GIF gets a color palette generated from the clip, and the animation loops indefinitely.

  1. Choose a source file. If the tool accepts multiple files, arrange them in the order you want.
  2. Adjust the basic settings, then open Advanced mode for export and fine-tuning options. Custom settings stay active when the panel is closed.
  3. Run video to gif, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

Ofte stillede spørgsmål

How do I make a GIF from only part of a video?

Enter the start time in seconds and a duration. The defaults are a start of 0 and a 10-second clip. If the start time is at or past the end of the file, the tool reports the video length so you can choose an earlier point.

How can I make a video GIF smaller?

Lower the frames per second (default 10) and the width (default 480 pixels), and keep the duration short. Each of these reduces how many pixels are stored. The finished GIF must stay under 50 MB, or the tool asks you to reduce duration or dimensions.

Does the converted GIF loop forever?

Yes. The GIF is written with an infinite loop flag, so it repeats in browsers and most chat apps. Scaling uses Lanczos resampling, and a palette is generated from the clip itself before the frames are encoded.

Where is my input processed?

This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.

What are the input limits?

Media input is bounded to 50 MB per file and 100 MB combined. WebAssembly conversions have a 180-second limit and may require substantial browser memory.
