How to use Signature image maker

The signature image maker renders a typed name as a transparent PNG and an SVG, or lets you draw a signature with a mouse, pen or touch and export it as PNG. For typed signatures, choose a cursive, serif or sans-serif typeface, a font size from 24 to 200 pixels and any ink color. Names can be up to 100 characters.

  1. Enter the requested values in the settings panel.
  2. Adjust the basic settings, then open Advanced mode for export and fine-tuning options. Custom settings stay active when the panel is closed.
  3. Run signature image maker, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

Frequently asked questions

Is a signature image from this tool legally binding?

It creates a visual signature only. It does not verify identity or apply a cryptographic digital signature, so check whether the recipient of your document accepts an image signature before relying on it.

Does the signature image have a transparent background?

Yes. Both the typed PNG and the drawn PNG have a transparent background, so they can sit on top of a document or letterhead. The SVG version contains only the text of your name, with no background.

Why does my typed signature look different in the SVG?

The SVG stores your name as text with a generic font family such as cursive, so each device draws it with whatever matching font it has. The PNG captures how it looked in your browser, which makes it the more consistent choice.

Where is my input processed?

This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.

What are the input limits?

Use finite numbers, valid dates and the ranges shown by each control. Invalid values produce an error without a downloadable result.
