How to use Resume prompt builder

Resume prompt builder writes a prompt for tailoring a resume to a target role using only the experience and achievements you supply. It combines your task with Verified experience and Evidence sections, then instructs the model to preserve factual accuracy, not invent employment, qualifications or metrics, and to flag missing evidence. Tone and output format are adjustable.

  1. Paste the source into the input editor, or load the built-in example.
  2. Adjust the basic settings, then open Advanced mode for export and fine-tuning options. Custom settings stay active when the panel is closed.
  3. Run resume prompt builder, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get AI to tailor my resume without making things up?

Paste only real roles in Verified experience and measurable results in Achievements and evidence. The generated prompt tells the model to preserve factual accuracy, not to invent employment, qualifications or metrics, and to flag where evidence is missing.

Can I target a specific job title with the resume prompt?

Yes. The Target role field, default Product designer, opens the prompt with Help tailor a resume for followed by your role. Pair it with a task in the main box, such as rewriting your summary for a job posting you paste there.

What happens if I leave the evidence field empty?

The prompt still generates, with an empty Evidence section. Because the template asks the model to flag missing evidence, an assistant should point out unsupported claims rather than fill the gap, but check its response to confirm it did.

Where is my input processed?

This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.

What are the input limits?

Text operations generally accept up to 2,000,000 characters. Individual parsers, generators and formulas apply additional limits shown by their controls.
