How to use Purchase order generator
The purchase order generator builds a printable purchase order from line items you enter as item, quantity and unit price, one per line. You add an order number, buyer, supplier, currency label and tax percentage. The order lists each line total, then the subtotal, tax and grand total to two decimals, and downloads as HTML for printing or saving as PDF.

- Adjust the basic settings, then open Advanced mode for export and fine-tuning options. Custom settings stay active when the panel is closed.

Frequently asked questions
How do I enter line items for a purchase order?
Type one item per line in the format name,quantity,unit price, such as Notebook,10,3.5. Up to 200 lines are allowed. Quantities must be positive and prices cannot be negative.
Can item names contain commas on the purchase order?
No. Each line is split at commas, so a comma inside the item name shifts the quantity and price into the wrong fields. Use a dash or other character in names instead.
How is tax applied on the purchase order?
Tax is a single percentage from 0 to 100 applied to the subtotal of all lines. The order shows the subtotal, tax amount and total. The currency label is printed as text and does not convert amounts.
