How to use Merge PDF

Merge PDF combines several PDF files into one document, following the order you arrange them in. You can keep every page or enter a page range for each file, one line per file, and the result downloads as merged.pdf. The merged output is limited to 500 pages, and each source file must be under 20 MB.

  1. Choose a source file. If the tool accepts multiple files, arrange them in the order you want.
  2. Adjust the basic settings, then open Advanced mode for export and fine-tuning options. Custom settings stay active when the panel is closed.
  3. Run merge pdf, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

Frequently asked questions

How do I merge only certain pages from each PDF?

Use the page ranges box with one line per file, in the same order as your files. For example, 1-3,5 on the first line keeps those pages from the first PDF, and a blank line keeps every page of that file.

Will bookmarks and form fields survive when I merge PDFs?

Page content is copied in file order, but document-level bookmarks, form behavior and digital signatures may not survive the merge. Keep the originals if you rely on those features and check the merged file before sharing it.

Is there a page limit when combining PDFs?

Yes. The merged document can contain at most 500 pages, and the tool stops with an error if the files you chose add up to more. Each input PDF must also be smaller than 20 MB.

Where is my input processed?

This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.

What are the input limits?

PDF input is bounded to 20 MB per file. Page rendering is capped at 200 selected pages; page-edit output is bounded to 500 pages.
