How to use Photo contact sheet

Photo contact sheet arranges uploaded images as thumbnails in a grid on a white PNG, optionally labeling each one with its file name. You choose 1 to 10 columns and a thumbnail cell size from 80 to 600 pixels. Each image is scaled to fit its cell without cropping, and up to 30 images can be included.

  1. Choose a source file. If the tool accepts multiple files, arrange them in the order you want.
  2. Adjust the basic settings, then open Advanced mode for export and fine-tuning options. Custom settings stay active when the panel is closed.
  3. Run photo contact sheet, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a contact sheet of my photos?

Select the images, set the number of columns and the thumbnail size, and decide whether to show filenames. The sheet is drawn in the order you select the files and is saved as contact-sheet.png.

Are the thumbnails cropped on the contact sheet?

No. Each image is scaled down to fit inside its square cell with a small margin, keeping its full frame and proportions. Wide and tall images leave more white space around them.

How long can the file name labels be?

Labels show the first 30 characters of each file name in small text below the thumbnail and are also limited to the cell width. Turn off Show filenames for a sheet with images only.

Where is my input processed?

Processes source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source is not saved to account history.

What are the input limits?

Browser file and text limits apply, along with the bounds shown in Settings. Image processing is capped at 32 megapixels. OCR quality depends on source resolution and layout.
