Image comparison slider
Compare two images using an adjustable divider.
How to use Image comparison slider
The Image comparison slider takes exactly two images and returns a single PNG that shows the first image on one side of a vertical divider and the second image on the other. The divider position is a percentage from 0 to 100, and the second image is stretched to the first image's dimensions so both line up.
- Choose a source file. If the tool accepts multiple files, arrange them in the order you want.
- Set divider (%).
- Run image comparison slider, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.
What this tool supports
Fits the second image to the first dimensions. Adjust the divider slider in settings and run again to export the comparison.
- Divider (%)
- Range: 0 to 100
Limits and processing
Images use the existing 32-megapixel canvas bound. Up to 100 source images are allowed where supported. Pasted HTML is bounded to 200,000 characters; Mermaid diagrams to 20,000 characters and 300 lines. SVG and PNG generation require a browser.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make a before and after image?
Add the before image first and the after image second, set the divider percentage and run the tool. The left part of the output shows the first image, the right part shows the second, and a thin white line marks the split.
What happens if my two images are different sizes?
The output uses the first image's width and height, and the second image is drawn at those same dimensions. If the aspect ratios differ, the second image will look stretched or squashed, so crop both to the same shape first.
Can I move the divider after exporting?
The export is a flat PNG, so the divider position is fixed in the file. To compare a different area, change the Divider percentage in settings and run the tool again; 50 places the line in the middle.
Where is my input processed?
This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.
