How to use Budget planner
Budget planner compares your monthly income with a list of expenses and shows what share of income each one takes. Enter one expense per line as a name and an amount, then set your monthly income. The results list each expense with its percentage of income, plus the total expenses and the unallocated income left over.

Frequently asked questions
How do I see what percentage of my income goes to rent?
Add a line such as Rent,1000 and enter your monthly income. The table shows the rent amount next to its percentage of income, along with every other expense you list.
What does unallocated income mean in the budget planner?
It is your monthly income minus the total of all listed expenses. A positive number is money not yet assigned to a category, and a negative number means the listed expenses exceed your income.
What format should budget lines use?
Use one expense per line with a name and a monthly amount separated by a comma, for example Food,400. Amounts cannot be negative, and lines with fewer than two values are rejected.
Where is my input processed?
This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.
What are the input limits?
