Com utilitzar Title case converter

Title Case Converter capitalizes the first letter of each word in a headline, treating every line as its own title. By default it keeps English minor words such as a, and, of, the and to lowercase unless they start or end the title or follow a colon. It also preserves ALL-CAPS words like NASA inside mixed-case titles; both rules can be switched off.

  1. Type or paste your source, or load an example.
  2. Change the basic settings or open Advanced mode to fine-tune the result.
  3. Review and copy or download your result. Pause Live results to run manually. Sources or individual settings above 20,000 characters require an explicit run.

Preguntes freqüents

Which small words stay lowercase in title case?

With the minor-word rule on, these stay lowercase mid-title: a, an, and, as, at, but, by, for, in, nor, of, on, or, per, the, to, via and vs. The first word, the last word and a word after a colon are always capitalized.

How do I keep acronyms like HTML capitalized in a title?

Leave Preserve ALL-CAPS words in mixed-case text turned on, which is the default. Words written entirely in capitals are kept when the rest of the title is mixed case. If the whole title is in capitals, it is converted normally instead.

Does title case handle phrasal verbs like give in or turn on?

Partly. A fixed list capitalizes particles after give, stand, turn and is, are, was or were, producing Give In or Turn Off. It is not a grammar parser, so other adverb uses of small words may need a manual edit.

Where is my input processed?

What are the input limits?
