Com utilitzar Semver range tester

The Semver range tester checks a list of versions, one per line, against a semantic version range such as ^1.2.0 and reports true or false for each. It uses the npm semver library's matching rules, including caret, tilde, hyphen and comparator ranges. An Include prereleases option controls whether versions like 1.3.0-beta.1 can match.

  1. Type or paste your source, or load an example.
  2. Change the basic settings or open Advanced mode to fine-tune the result.
  3. Review and copy or download your result. Pause Live results to run manually. Sources or individual settings above 20,000 characters require an explicit run.

Preguntes freqüents

What versions does a caret range like ^1.2.0 match?

^1.2.0 allows changes that do not modify the leftmost nonzero number, so it matches 1.2.0 and 1.5.3 but not 2.0.0. Enter your candidate versions one per line to see true or false next to each.

Why does a prerelease version not match my range?

By default, semver excludes prereleases such as 1.3.0-beta.1 unless a comparator in the range uses a prerelease of the same major, minor and patch version. Turn on Include prereleases to let prerelease versions match like normal versions.

What input format does the semver range tester need?

Put each version on its own line, up to 1,000 lines. Every line must be a valid semantic version such as 1.2.3 or 2.0.0-rc.1, and the range must be valid semver syntax. An invalid entry stops the check and names the version.

Where is my input processed?

This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.
