Text to diagram
Create directed process diagrams from arrow lines or supported English sequences.
Text to diagram
አጠቃቀም Text to diagram
Text to diagram converts a process description into a directed flow diagram, downloadable as SVG and JSON. Write lines such as Intake -> Review : condition, chain several steps with arrows, or use simple English sequences joined by then, plus If, When or Otherwise branches. Negated instructions are not drawn, and diagrams are capped at 20 nodes and 50 links.
- Paste the source into the input editor, or load the built-in example.
- Set output style, processing.
- Run text to diagram, review the output, then use the available copy or download controls.

Source-based mode parses directed arrow lines (A -> B : condition) and simple English sequences/branches. Negated instructions are not drawn as links. Ambiguous prose returns editing guidance. SVG arrowheads and a full relationship legend show direction. Optional AI drafts can invent or omit relationships.

Source: 8,000 characters. Cards, quizzes and outlines: 1–12 exact items when enough distinct source excerpts exist; reduce the count or add facts if needed. Diagrams: 20 nodes and 50 directed links; arbitrary prose needs arrow syntax. Source-based mode needs no WebGPU/model download. Optional AI draft uses a tiny local model, can be wrong, and may reach its output limit.

What syntax does text to diagram accept?
Each line can contain an arrow, -> or →, between step names, and you can chain steps like A -> B -> C. Add a label after a spaced colon, as in Review -> Reject : missing data. Without arrows, it reads English sequences written with then.
Why does text to diagram say my process is ambiguous?
Source-based mode only draws relationships it can identify explicitly. Free prose, branches that do not name a known step, or sequences without a marker such as follows or process: return guidance instead of a guessed diagram. Rewriting those parts as arrow lines resolves it.
How are edge labels shown in the generated diagram?
Links are drawn with arrowheads to show direction and are numbered, and a legend lists the full text of each numbered relationship, including its condition. This keeps long labels readable instead of crowding them onto the arrows.
Where is my input processed?
Source-based mode runs in this browser without an AI model or source upload. PDF export loads a bundled font; browser fonts handle other scripts. Optional Local browser AI draft downloads public model/runtime assets and requires WebGPU.
