How to use JSON to CSV
JSON to CSV converts an array of JSON objects into CSV rows, using every key found across the objects as a column. Choose a comma, semicolon, tab or pipe delimiter, include or skip the header row, pick CRLF or LF line endings, quote every cell, or add a UTF-8 BOM for spreadsheet apps.
- Type or paste your source, or load an example.
- Change the basic settings or open Advanced mode to fine-tune the result.
- Review and copy or download your result. Pause Live results to run manually. Sources or individual settings above 20,000 characters require an explicit run.

What JSON structure can I convert to CSV?
The input must be an array of objects. Columns come from the union of all keys, so an object missing a key gets an empty cell in that column. Other shapes, such as a single object, return an error.
How are nested objects handled in JSON to CSV?
Nested objects and arrays are written into the cell as JSON text rather than flattened into extra columns. Plain strings, numbers and booleans are written as ordinary cell values.
Why do some CSV cells start with an apostrophe?
Cells that begin with spreadsheet formula characters are escaped to reduce CSV formula injection when the file is opened in a spreadsheet. This is applied automatically to every export.
Where is my input processed?
This operation processes its source in your browser. Copy and download are explicit actions; source input is not saved in an account or history.
What are the input limits?
Text operations generally accept up to 2,000,000 characters. Individual parsers, generators and formulas apply additional limits shown by their controls.
